A touch sensor, a controller, and a software driver are the three main components of a basic touch screen. To create a touch screen system, a touch screen must be combined with a display and a PC.
Touch Sensor
The sensor usually has an electrical current or signal running through it, and touching the screen causes the signal to change. This modification is used to determine the location of the screen's touch.
Controller
Between the touch sensor and the PC will be a controller. It takes information from the sensor and converts it for PC comprehension. The type of connection required is determined by the controller.
Software Driver
It enables computers and touch screens to communicate with one another. It instructs the operating system on how to interact with the touch event information sent by the controller.
